Senior UX Researcher

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Contract

We’re looking for a freelance UX Researcher based in Ulaanbaatar to support a usability testing project for a global non-profit website redesign. You’ll be working under an arrangement with DotDesign, as part of our internal research team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Recruiting 10 participants (5 per website version) that match predefined criteria
Securing a quiet, private location to host the usability tests
Facilitating in-person usability testing sessions (in Mongolian, with basic English reporting)
Taking clear notes, and optionally supporting light synthesis of insights
Coordinating logistics and scheduling with our remote team

Requirements:

Based in Ulaanbaatar
Experienced in usability testing, participant recruitment, and moderation
Comfortable working as a white-label partner within an external team
Able to communicate in basic English
Bonus: Familiar with government, education, or nonprofit digital projects
